As Senior Vice President for the Assessment & Consulting Services (ACS) group, a division of CBRE’s Valuation & Advisory Services (VAS), Mr. Sorensen represents CBRE’s Client Care program for the United States. Through the Client Care Program, Mr. Sorensen’s responsibilities encompass developing and managing both institutional and international clients while aligning with leadership across CBRE business lines to support the client’s strategic objectives. Additionally, Mr. Sorensen leads business development for the South Central Region where he supports due diligence needs for Corporations, Equity Clients, Mortgage Brokers, Banks, Life Companies, Investment Banks, and Servicing Departments.
Mr. Sorensen serves as the National Senior Housing Practice Leader for the Assessment & Consulting Services group where he is active in the American Senior Housing Association (ASHA) and National Investment Center for Seniors Housing & Care (NIC). Through a dedicated team that specializes in the Senior Housing market, ACS provides benchmark data for industry capital cost indices as well as construction cost case studies for prospective investors and developers.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Sorensen was a Strategic Client Director at Environmental Data Resources, a provider of current and historical data for due diligence services. In this position, he supported over 50,000 property assessments with data and software solutions for Consulting & Engineering Professional, Lenders, and Corporate & Legal Entities. Mr. Sorensen’s knowledge and experience with national and international lenders and developers allow him to understand each client’s unique needs and provide the most effective solutions to meet those needs.
