Monique Moyer, Senior Managing Director, Global Workplace Solutions provides executive sponsorship to CBRE’s Bay Area clients. Monique is part of the West Division leadership team delivering great client outcomes, employee satisfaction and alignment between business and real estate strategy. She provides clients with valued guidance in the disciplines of account leadership, operational performance, strategic planning and facilities management. Monique chairs CBRE’s Global Energy Industry Sector committee.
Monique has a wide base of experience in property management, asset management, development negotiation and entitlement, capital markets structuring and issuance, and public pension investment policy. She has a long tenure working in matrixed organizations and is known for her leadership, problem-solving and transparency.
Most recently Monique served 12 years as Executive Director of the Port of San Francisco overseeing 20 million square feet of varied real estate assets and a $150 million annual budget. Previously, Monique served as Public Finance Director, managing the City’s $2 billion debt portfolio and representing then-Mayor Willie L. Brown on the CalPERS board of directors. Monique served as Economic Development Director in 1997.
Prior to joining the government sector in 1996, Monique held officer positions with two investment banking firms where she specialized in municipal finance and collateralized mortgage obligations.

- Monique proudly received the 2002 San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Public Managerial Leadership Award. Beginning in 2005 she was named annually as a San Francisco Business Times’ Influential Women in Business and became “Ever Influential” in 2012. In 2013 Monique was inducted into the Northern California Real Estate Women of Influence Hall of Fame. Monique also is the recipient of San Francisco Travel's 2013 Silver Cable Car Award, the 2014 BOMA SF (Building Owners and Managers Association of San Francisco) Good Government Award, Bay Planning Coalition’s 2016 Frank C Boerger Award and was honored with the 2015 Human Rights Award for Community Building at the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women.
