Mike Lafitte is Global Chief Executive Officer of CBRE’s Advisory Services business, which includes Advisory & Transaction Services, Asset Services, Capital Markets, Local Project Management and Valuations. He also serves as Chief Executive Officer of the firm’s Americas region.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Lafitte was Global Group President, with responsibility for the EMEA and APAC regions, as well as Asset Services, Project Management, Client Care and CBRE 360.
Mr. Lafitte served as Chief Operating Officer from 2012 to 2016, and before that served as President, Americas. Mr. Lafitte serves on the company’s Global Operating Committee, M&A Committee and Enterprise Risk Committee.
Prior to becoming President, Americas, Mr. Lafitte was President of Institutional & Corporate Services where he was responsible for the company’s Asset Services business in the Americas and Global Corporate Services. Previously, Mr. Lafitte served as President of Global Services for Trammell Crow Company and was a member of the firm's Executive Committee and Operating Committee.
Mr. Lafitte joined Trammell Crow Company in 1997 and served in various roles including Chief Operating Officer of Global Services, Regional Director of the Central region of the U.S. and Dallas Market Leader. CBRE acquired Trammell Crow Company in 2006.
Mr. Lafitte has been in the commercial real estate business since 1984 when he joined Lincoln Property Company in Dallas and also served in production, leadership and development roles with Bear Stearns and PREMISYS Real Estate Services, an affiliate of Prudential Life Insurance Company.
