Matt Werner leads the Enterprise Facilities Management (“EFM”) line of business for CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (“GWS”). In this role, he drives the largest service line within GWS, with over 25,000 employees supporting buildings and workplaces for clients every day, worldwide.
EFM provides integrated building operations and maintenance solutions for clients, with a current portfolio of 2.3 billion square feet under management. EFM incorporates facilities oversight and financial management, maintenance and repairs, cleaning and grounds, energy and sustainability, reception and security, moves adds changes and other employee support services. EFM is delivered to clients in a performance-based format that balances cost and quality objectives.
As leader of the GWS EFM Platform, Matt is responsible for programs that convey the advantages of CBRE’s industry-leading scale to EFM clients. His expert teams pursue innovations, standards, sourcing initiatives, emerging technologies, training and certification programs, and Lean Sigma practices in order to reduce expenses, improve the occupant experience, operate safely, and help each client advance their corporate social responsibility goals.
Previously Matt led the GWS Sales & Client Solutions team globally. In this role he helped drive record-setting growth, deepened relationships with strategic clients, and improved GWS go-to-market offerings for clients worldwide. He began his career with Trammell Crow Company in 1994 in Stamford, CT.
