Professional Experience

Mark Bratt is a Senior Managing Director with CBRE's Capital Markets and leads retail investment services for the Americas. Mark oversees more than 125 commercial real estate professionals, of which 25 focus on institutional clients. These professionals will sell over $7 billion of retail properties in 2017. The professionals that focus on the institutional business are known as CBRE National Retail Partners.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mark was Chief Investment Officer for DDR, responsible for acquisitions and dispositions. DDR is a publicly traded REIT focused on open air shopping centers with 400 properties across the U.S. During his tenure, DDR acquired more than $4 billion and sold over $2 billion in retail centers. Prior to DDR, Mark was an Executive Director with Morgan Stanley Real Estate, providing leadership for investing for the firm’s opportunity funds and separate account clients. He also worked at Lend Lease and Prentiss Properties in acquisitions, dispositions, development and asset management.
