Margaret Tutone is an Associate with CBRE’s Advisory & Transaction Services group based out of Melville, Long Island. Margaret’s focus is on both tenant and landlord representation for clients throughout the Long Island market. She assists with market research and analysis, canvassing, as well as providing market knowledge from her strong real estate background.
Ms. Tutone is a veteran of the residential and commercial real estate business, working for over 25 years in various aspects. Before joining CBRE, Ms. Tutone worked as a residential broker for Douglas Elliman on Long Island, with a primary focus on the disposition and acquisition of homes on the North Shore of Nassau County, a prestigious residential market on Long Island.
Prior to working with CBRE, Margaret spent a number of years working in property management for The Galbreath Company and Polimeni Realty, managing both residential and commercial properties. As a property manager, she supervised the day-to-day functions of the Sun Bank Building in Fort Lauderdale, FL, which totaled more than 1MSF. Her prior years working in property management provides her with a deep expertise when it comes to property owners, tenant needs, and how to bring value to assets.
Margaret contributes her spare time to charitable causes including participating in the America’s VetDogs Long Island 5K Run and Dog Walk, to help fund the training and placement of service dogs with veterans with disabilities, and Cycle for Survival, to raise money toward rare cancer research.
