Mallory joined CBRE in 2013 specializing in owner representation, working closely with Executive Vice Presidents Adam Kohler and Steven Gartner. Her primary focus is leasing upscale mixed-use projects in Center City, Philadelphia and the surrounding suburbs. She is responsible for marketing properties, strategic prospecting for national, regional and local tenants and negotiating deal terms.
Mallory’s notable leasing assignments include The King of Prussia Town Center, a 260,000 square foot high-profile newly constructed project in King of Prussia, PA and Kimco Realty’s Suburban Square, a 321,000 square foot iconic lifestyle center in Ardmore, PA. She was actively involved in bringing exciting tenants to these projects including Soul Cycle, Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse, Kendra Scott, Drybar, Le Pain Quotidien, Naf Naf Grill and honeygrow, among others.
In 2018, Mallory played a key role in CBRE securing the retail-leasing assignment for one of the Philadelphia region’s largest projects: Brandywine Realty Trust’s 6.9 million-sq.-ft. Schuylkill Yards redevelopment. Mallory’s portion of CBRE’s presentation covered CBRE’s vision for the project’s merchandising mix, which included “eat-ertainment” destinations, community-centric concepts and innovative, progressive brands.
Mallory focuses on tracking retailers in other regions of the country, constantly searching for burgeoning retailers who have yet to hit the Philadelphia market. She has dedicated herself to studying consumer habits and trends and researching significant retail projects throughout the country, in an on-going effort to further refine her expertise in merchandising.
Prior to joining CBRE, Mallory worked for a boutique commercial mortgage brokerage firm, Urban/Poole & Heath, LLC, as an Underwriter and a Property Manager. There she learned the fundamentals of retail real estate and the key components that create a strong and successful shopping center from both an owner and a lender’s perspective. She also briefly worked at Beacon Commercial Real Estate, LLC as a Sales Associate focusing on office brokerage.
Mallory is an active member in The International Council of Shopping Centers, serving as Co-Chair for ICSC –Next Gen PA/NJ/DE, and she holds real estate licenses in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. In 2018, CBRE named Mallory one of its “RISE-ing Stars,” highlighting her as one of the company’s leading young professionals. Mallory graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Communications
