As Director of Corporate Responsibility, Lisa Colicchio has over 10 years of experience developing and implementing strategies, policies and programs to advance responsible corporate citizenship. On an annual basis she leads the greenhouse gas inventory management and reporting for over 300 corporate offices around the globe and developed a methodology for science based carbon reduction targets in support of limiting global climate warming below 2 C. She assisted with development of a comprehensive analysis and strategy road map of long term corporate objectives to create a world class corporate responsibility platform in line with shared value principles and incorporating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Additionally, she manages the sustainability learning and development program which includes curriculum from USGBC, BOMA and EPA Energy Star. Tracking building energy use is fundamental to effective energy management and in her role she oversee the EPA Energy Star program for a national client portfolio of 1,900 buildings totaling 475 million square feet, successfully increasing the number of benchmarked facilities by 360% over the 9 year history and earning the Partner of the Year, Sustained Excellence award consecutively each year. She directs a variety of employee engagement campaigns including CBRE Green Week which is celebrated globally inspiring participation of 15,000 employees and capturing 3,500,000 impressions across social media platforms.
Her achievements include participating in the development and implementation of CBRE’s $1,000,000 innovation fund to advance global programs that impact the built environment and engaging in thought leadership research with academic institutions.
Prior to working in Corporate Responsibility, Lisa was Director of Operations for the Asset Services Western Region for CBRE and oversaw a 1.5 million square foot portfolio for client, Walt Disney Company.
Lisa exemplifies her professional work by living a life of committed action. She leads a Sustainability Executive Round Table with the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce and also is Chair of the Sustainability Committee of BOMA Greater LA Chapter. She has served on the IMT/DOE Green Lease Leaders Taskforce, the Construction Technical Advisory Group for Sustainable Purchasing Leadership Council and the DELOS Well guidebook review task force. She was recently honored with the Top Women in Sustainability award by Green Building & Design magazine and holds professional designations which include LEED AP O&M, CCIM and BOMA RPA.
