Lauren Conrad is a Production Analyst with CBRE Capital Markets, Debt & Structured Finance, in Denver, Colorado. Working with Michael Cantwell and David Treadwell, she performs financial and real estate analysis on debt and equity structures for all commercial real estate property types. Lauren underwrites and creates loan packages for a spectrum of lenders including life companies, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, HUD, banks and conduit (CMBS) lenders. She also conducts analysis on structured debt, preferred equity and mezzanine loans.
Lauren’s background is in hospitality, specifically with hotels and resorts. She obtained her BSBA degree from the University of Denver, Daniels College of Business, with a Major in Hospitality Management within the field of Hotels and Resorts. Her professional experience includes internships with both Stout Street Hospitality and Destination Hotels, where she learned the ins and outs of how hotels are run, maintained, financed and developed. Lauren’s extensive knowledge of hotels and resorts provide her with the necessary skills to underwrite said property types efficiently and accurately.
Her past experience also includes participating in the NAIOP Rocky Mountain Real Estate Challenge in 2015, in which a team of students prepares a development plan for the selected property. This experience helped Lauren in her understanding of underwriting construction loans and how financing for commercial real estate property types is originated.
