Mr. Cook joined CBRE|Richmond in 2013 to oversee CBRE’s Central Virginia research platform. Since then his role has expanded to also oversee the Hampton Road’s research platform while working to assist the Raleigh and Greensboro offices in expanding their research capabilities. With a background in Economics and Finance, he brings a focused and analytical approach to understanding the context and the drivers of the underlying trends and their subsequent impacts on the real estate market. By synthesizing large quantities of data into actionable intelligence he provides clients with a deep understanding the specific drivers of the real estate market that allows them to identify opportunities. He has experience underwriting and providing in-depth research on a variety of real estate products across the country for clients.
Prior to joining CBRE|Richmond, Mr. Cook studied in Beijing, China and worked as an Asset Management Intern, for Property Investment Advisors, a private equity group focused on real estate development.
Mr. Cook’s understanding of the Central Virginia office, industrial and retail markets, combined with his global perspective, financial understanding and analysis makes him a valuable asset.
