Shane Seitz joined CBRE’s U.S. Healthcare Capital Markets in 2018 after ten years at Ventas, a leading healthcare REIT and an S&P 500 Company. He specializes in structuring and negotiating large real estate financing and equity placements for corporate clients, private equity groups, local real estate investors, developers and healthcare providers. Shane has structured and capitalized over $10 billion in real estate transactions during his career. These transactions include medical office buildings, ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs), urgent care centers, lab and research facilities, seniors housings facilities, hospitals and wellness centers.
Shane’s capital sources include life insurance correspondents, pension funds, international and domestic commercial banks, debt funds, credit-based financing, mortgage REITs and Wall Street CMBS investment banks. Shane has developed a specialization for sourcing the complete capital stack including senior mortgages, mezzanine pieces, preferred equity and joint venture equity structures. Shane brings over twenty years of real estate experience with the past seventeen focused exclusively in healthcare real estate. During his career, Shane has worked at two publicly traded REITs, a private equity firm and one of the largest healthcare developers in the country.
